Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I have a sweet tooth for chocolate covered pretzels. They are a snack that I enjoy at all times of the day. I love the mixture of the salty pretzel and the chocolate goodness. To begin making chocolate covered pretzels first you need to have pretzels and chocolate. Then you need to take a pot and melt chocolate over low heat. You will need to stir the chocolate constantly. Next, you take the pretzels and dip them into the melted chocolate, quickly while the chocolate is still warm. Next you can also decorate some of the pretzels. It is very important to make sure you do this quickly while the chocolate is still melted. You can dip the pretzel into sprinkles, m&m's or any other special treat. Then, place the covered pretzel onto wax paper to set and cool. Finally after a few hours, your chocolate covered pretzels will be ready to eat. Feel the chocolate melt in your mouth and indulge into the tasty goodness.

  1. I like the examples you gave for the grammar activity. When students are allowed to write about something they can relate to, or have background knowledge on, it often makes writing less frustrating.

  2. I really like this blog entry! It is super fun and who does not like chocolate covered pretzels! The recipe gives the students steps to follow and something for them to be engaged in reading. Giving the students the option to create their own paragraph gives a personal feel to the lesson and I really enjoyed reading this!
